DIY COLORFUL TASSEL FRINGE STREAMER PHOTO BOOTH BACKDROP

This DIY colorful tassel fringe streamer photo booth backdrop was so fun to put together and turned out as such a festive photo booth op!   I actually made it two years ago around this time of year for a Mother's Day photo spot at our church but it seems like this was just yesterday! It's so versatile and can be customized to include any color scheme you choose- would be so fun with school colors for a Graduation party, color palette selections for a wedding, or a variety of colors for a whatever holiday party you might be hosting. This was such a fun and relatively simple DIY project and other than a few hours of time the monetary investment is pretty small for such a big impact!  I always want to make sure that I give credit where credit is due-  I originally saw a similar idea from Kara at A Kalio Chic Life , but made some changes and adapted the method she used to better suit my needs and budget.  Today I'm sharing with you how I made mine.   Here are the supplies I use...

LET'S TRY OUT BODEN- IT'S ON SALE!

I have not been a Boden shopper in the past, but always drool a little bit when their things pop up in my feed!  If there's ever been a selection for Jennifer Griffin... this is it!! FIVE FRIDAY FAVORITES

Happy Friday everyone!  So excited to share my Five Friday Favorites with you today, it's a good one! These floral pillows were sent to me by mistake when I ordered a different pattern, but I loved the colors so much I kept them!   They are a designer inspired design, but the fabric is a sturdy synthetic and suitable for indoor or outdoor.   The sister pattern that I bought has been on my patio for well over a year in full sun at times every day and hasn't faded one bit.   Always use inserts 2” larger than your pillow cover for a full, plump pillow!  I like these down inserts , or try these if down allergies are a concern. NEW PINK CHAIRS (AGAIN!)

I've got a curve ball for you today that I haven't shared yet...  I sold my hot pink chairs!   I know, I know.  I loved my hot pink club chairs.  You loved my hot pink club chairs.  We just decided we wanted a different style of chair.  The club chairs were pretty wide and deep and took up a lot of room, and we were interested in some swivel/glider chairs instead.   I looked to purchase new, but couldn't find anything I really liked and new furniture is SO expensive.  I kept an eye on FB Marketplace and came across these- Aside from the fabric reminding me of the olive green velvet striped couch my family had growing up, they were in great shape and made by CR Laine, a quality brand that was much more high end than the new ones I was looking at in furniture stores!  We scooped them up and moved them in just to try out for a few days to make sure we liked them before going to the trouble of recovering them.   Then, they sat in my garage for over a year while I looked for fab...
